Autism spectrum disorders are a group of conditions that affects how a person’s brain interprets the world around them. In other words, these conditions affect how a person understands things that they see, hear, feel, touch, and experience. This sometimes makes it very difficult for a person to communicate or interact with others. However, in some cases, their unique way of “seeing” the world allows someone with autism to be extremely artistic, creative, and intelligent.
