The directions state: “WRITE the following words in alphabetical order”
When reading the sentence, many of us interpret it as a request to put each word in a listed alphabetical order according to each word’s first letter.
But this second grader’s beautiful brain did exactly what was instructed – he wrote each word out alphabetically based on their own letters.
1. Apple – AELPP
2. Pumpkin – IKMNPPU
3. Log – GLO
4. River – EIRRV
5. Fox – FOX
6. Pond – DNOP
