This guy is a peacock spider. Instead of throwing hands up in the air, male peacock spiders throw their legs in the air and dance around like they just don’t care.

Male peacock spiders get their name from a stomach flap that is colored beautifully to get the attention of females, much like a peacock. Once they have their multiple eyes on a female, the flap pops up, legs start moving, and it’s on from there.

Shaking, jumping, waving, and many other movements are used to convince the lovely lady spider to mate. Audio signals are also sent during the process, which are called “rumble-rumps”.
